Damn you, Harry Potter!

So where are the bodies who are supposed to be driving to LA and beyond?
Specifically, it is 11pm - where is Cayley?
As I type this, Karin is in bed. Emma is in bed. I should be in bed.
And the teenagers...?
Cayley, after being parked in line all day, is about to wander into the midnight premier of Harry Potter #7 - the final installment.
She could have left for LA earlier this week. Be found lounging on the beach. Snapping photos of the movie stars. Checking out the sketchy speedo-clad dudes in Venice.
But no.
She MUST see the premier here in Bozeman, with her peeps. My hat's off to them - last time I waited that long in line for a movie was the first Star Wars. You know, back when they made actual models of space ships, instead of using that new-fangled CGI stuff. Flivvity flavvity!
And where is Maggie? It is 5pm tomorrow where she is. Which is interesting - I think that means she is already on her way to Auckland, to spend a couple of days there with her AFS host family and friends before jumping on the plane for LAX, after six months in New Zealand.
This is one of the few times she will get to travel back in time - she gets on the plane in Auckland at 1:05pm Sunday and arrives at LAX at 6:30am the same day.
I hope she remembers her towel.
So, after some deliberation, and consultation with the neighbors, we have decided, rather than get an early start, to get a REALLY early start. As in, pick up Cayley from the movie, finish packing the car, and hit the road. Coffee figures large in all this.
The blog entry tomorrow should be curious, if there is one.
